"I have ​had an ongoing custody battle for several years.  Through this entire process I have always felt that the attorneys on both sides wanted to just find a resolution and settle the case regardless of what was in the best interest of the child.  It's extremely frustrating when you, as a parent, know what is in the best interest of your child, but the professionals that you hire to represent you seem to be completely numb to your feelings and frustrations.  It's just a bunch of expensive paperwork back and forth that, at the end of the day, gets you absolutely nowhere.  I spent months looking online for a new attorney that I thought I may feel a connection to that would not just listen, but actually hear what I was saying and truly understand my concern.
